In the following chronicle, we study the influence of Granada in the work of the writer Federico García Lorca. Through his theatrical works and poetry, we can show our students the importance that this city held for the poet throughout his short and intense life. Moreover, this theme can serve as a way for our students to delve deeper into the cultural and political history of Lorca’s time, as well as to learn about the Generation of ’27 and the different writers who were part of it.
