From October 31st until November 2nd, IÉSEG Center for Intercultural Engagement hosted a joint research congress with the International Association of Cross-Cultural Competence and Management (IACCM), at its Paris La Défense campus.
The theme of the event, which brought together some 140 scholars, trainers and practitioners from 25 different countries, was Intercultural competencies for a disruptive VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world: exploring creativity, innovation, resilience and resistance in intercultural research, training and management.
The congress aimed to encourage dialogue between its participants, allowing them to contribute valuable insights and to explore together new and creative ways of promoting and embedding intercultural competence in organizations and to managing in a VUCA world.
