In this chronicle, a reflection on the stigma of Andalusian speech is carried out. This journey begins with my personal experience and quickly moves through history and the most stigmatized sectors, such as entertainment and communication media. We conclude our chronicle by considering that the Andalusian accent is beginning to be valued by Andalusians themselves as a richness rather than a dishonor.
