Ekaterina Nemkova is an Associate Professor in Marketing. She obtained her PhD in the area of International Marketing from Loughborough University. Prior joining IESEG she held a position at Nottingham University Business School and was also a Visiting Professor at the University of Chile.
Ekaterina specializes in international marketing and in general examines how international strategies are developed; she investigates how firms enter new markets, win international customers and succeed cross-borders. Ekaterina is particularly interested in understanding the importance of creativity in business & marketing setting. It has been a unifying theme of all her research projects which context-wise cover international decision-making, born global companies and global platform economy. Ekaterina’s research has been published in a variety of international outputs, including among others Journal of International Marketing; International Marketing Review; Journal of Business Research; New Technology, Work and Employment; Journal of Business Ethics and Work, Employment and Society. Her work is embedded in research traditions of marketing science, sociology and psychology.
