Grant DOUGLAS

Grant Douglas has been involved in designing, organizing and implementing international/intercultural study programmes for 20 years. He is a member of the IAIR, vice-president of SIETAR-France and a qualified IDI administrator.

Grant has been involved in Study Abroad and international programmes in different capacities since 1991. He was in charge of the International Relations Service of different higher education institutes for 17 years. Since 2000, Grant has been actively involved in the conception, organization and implementation of study programmes with an international and intercultural dimension. These include undergraduate, post-graduate and professional development programmes, as well as short, summer programmes. Grant has been in charge of developing intercultural communication programmes at Lille Catholic University, France for the last 9 years. Since 2012 he has been assisting IÉSEG School of Management in their efforts to move from being an international school to becoming a truly intercultural establishment. He is the pedagogical coordinator of the “Understanding Cultural Diversity” module for the bachelor’s and the “Managing Cultural Diversity” module for the master’s as well as the “Dealing Daily With Diversity” training module for the staff.   Grant is a member of the IAIR, vice-president of SIETAR-France and a qualified IDI administrator. He regularly presents at national and international conferences on topics linked to intercultural communication and intercultural competence in higher education institutes.
