Pratik Goel is Assistant Professor of Audit and Control. He completed his PhD in Management (with a specialization in Accounting) at the Indian School of Business, one year of which was spent as a visiting scholar at INSEAD.
Pratik’s research interests include the textual analysis of corporate narrative disclosures, CEO behavior, and regulator communication and rhetoric. His current research examines the role and importance of qualitative disclosures in influencing the market’s perception about firm and CEO performance by looking at textual attributes, such as tone, content, and complexity. He holds an MSc in Financial Risk Management (with distinction) from the University of Glasgow in Scotland (UK), and a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Delhi (India). He is an avid traveler and culture-enthusiast, and hails from New Delhi (India).
